i think if you go to christmas events it will get you in the mood, i know the christmas concert last weekend did me and going to a light show too help, damn it cold enough going down to 0 here on friday night

A few years back, my brother celebrated Christmas with us over zoom. Him and his family spent the entire day with us via video call on our laptops. It wasn't the same as being there but they were able to talk to everyone throughout the day. It helped for sure overcome the separation.

Like 4 years ago, Le. But this coming May I already have a ticket for my vacation. I will be able to visit my dad's grave for the 1st time and able to spend quality time with them again.

Thank you, Tank! and yes, I normally call them on weekends if I'm not busy or tired. My college professor once told me that you actually grow much closer to the people you love if you're away from them, that your distance creates closeness and he is very correct.

So to everyone who has the chance to be with their family during this holiday season, please don't miss the chance to celebrate with them. You guys are lucky.
