Spurs get it done as all my bets hit yesterday. I still think the Spurs will win this series possibly in 6 games. The worst thing that could happen to New York happened yesterday which was allowing this Spurs team to get game 3 at the Garden. Now they believe and imo they're still the better team who has just played like a young team in this series for the first time. Still though they very easily could be up 3-0 but instead they're down 2-1 and having to dig themselves out of a hole which is possible because they have the best player on the floor. That's why I still believe in the Spurs even though the Knicks have been en fuego in the playoffs.

Man 2-2 night last night. Spurs losing has to be one of the filthiest beats I've ever taken in my sports betting career although there have been others but that one was just gross. At least they covered but that's no consolation to me since they should've won. They've now pissed away 2 games and instead of being at least up 3-1 they're down 3-1 in what has been one of the weirdest finals ever. I say this because I still think the Spurs are better than the Knicks but the Knicks have outplayed and outcoached them so they're up 3-1. It comes down to the Spurs youth and never having been in this situation before. They sort of remind me of the 2022 Celtics team that lost to the Warriors. That team was good and maybe even every bit as talented as the Warriors but they had to lose before they could win one two years later as the most dominant team in the NBA. I see the Spurs kind of being like that since they never faced adversity having never been in the playoffs for the most part.

A big reason why the Spurs have lost three games in this series is Wemby hasn't been that great. Yes he's put up some monster lines but a closer look at the box score tells us that the Knicks and in particular KAT have done a great job defending him and making him earn it. He hasn't been efficient which is why I think if the Knicks win they should seriously consider KAT for MVP but they'll likely give it to either Brunson or OG Anunoby who has been terrific in all four games in this series.

2-2 day including a nice cash with USA. We'll see if I continue to make World Cup bets because I don't normally bet soccer but I couldn't pass up betting the US in the 1st game and getting in on the action. Luckily I won so hopefully that continues if I continue making World Cup bets.

Welp that was a disgusting finals. Congrats to the Knicks they outplayed and out executed the Spurs in the 4th Quarter in pretty much every game of that short 5 game series. That is because they're the better coached team and their players to their credit kept their composure every single time they got down which happened in every game in that series. They deserved to win but the Spurs probably felt like they lost that series more than the Knicks won it. They blew it on the sports biggest stage and that's a sign of their immaturity. They'll be back because Wemby is so young and will most certainly learn from this painful loss but he has to get better because to be honest I don't think he particularly played that great in this series. Once Wemby figures it out though the rest of the league is in trouble and I think he'll figure it out as will his teammates who are also very young.
