TCU making an initial 2nd half push to take the lead. That is a bit much a bit soon, but if they are going to win this, they need to be there.

Again, the Lab has a high confidence in those spreads, so hopefully this game is about a fight on the moneyline, and not about a cover of the spread.

As with nearly every play in the Lab that comes to Trading Desk it was successful at one point.

I was not at the desk but early in the 2nd half the spreads were in the 80s and 90s and the moneyline at .25 and .26 cents.

The Trader was not at the desk to capitalize.

The Lab continues to bring excellent work in predicting team pushes, the Trading Desk needs get back to get green and get out. And not leave with open positions because of Lab confidence...

I'm stepping out and going to let these simmer while slightly underwater.

I am not managing this trade at the moment and have no limit orders in, at the moment, to shake out if it drops.

Taking on the risk here in the trading account with 4 open positions at play.

We know what happened here. Won't take much of a review to uncover the problem.

After a couple of deep breaths, we shrug it off and move on to the next issues. It's the only way to move forward.

That TCU trade was the trade of the day, and it worked, that was the shot. but not there to get in on it.

Lab is ok with these Totals, the Trader too.

But the Trader got to that moneyline late and there wasn't so much slippage as I was just late.

With further review that Texas moneyline should have been bought and possibly sold already, and I should probably not be holding it through the start of the second half.

So there some issues with this play and I won't tolerate much loss in an effort to gain.

Lab does like Texas, but we can see a rocky road to get there and if the Trader doesn't want to tolerate being under too much water we could get shaken out of that moneyline.

This wouldn't be as much of an issue if the cost basis was in the lower 30s, where it was when I was calculating.

The Lab Chief (me) sends ideas to the Trader (me) at the Trading Desk.

The Lab also send plays to the sportsbook, and on to a group.

Very few ideas on the Trading Desk come from someone else, I'm the main money manager making the major decisions on both bets and the only one making decisions on Trades.

I run the KVB Family of Funds but my office extends out, with me making and taking calls often.

The goal is to make Trading the main driver of income but we are not there yet as I am still inventing this.

So it's me, but I make it a point to differnentiate the Trading Desk from the Lab and betting.

The point is that LIVE trading is it's own animal, with 1% trading skill and 99% mental skill, or roughly that proportion.

Trading is different than LIVE betting, even.

Another thing that's come up today is that I've been a little loose with the order book.

I've gone to market a couple of times and paid commission, not quite like the books, but I've paid some.

That's a bit unusual and I'll have to review time management for that, maybe too much posting, lol.

Shit, an order to get our of 144.5 didn't trigger and I accidentally let that shit go to 0.

That was not supposed to happen, not supposed to take the total loss there, licky I didn't get a total loss on the 141.5.

Tex/Gonz OVER 141.5 will settle for 1.00 @ an 81.82% profit.
Tex/Gonz OVER 144.5 will settle for 0 @ a -100% loss.

Texas ml will settle for 1.00 @ a 156.4% profit.
