JDS vs. River vs Sam NBA Playoff Contest

Parameters:

1. Playing for $200 ducks each to the player with most wins against the spread. JDS/SAM/RIVER
2. Max 50 Plays
3. Sides/ Game totals/Team totals.
3. One of us will post the lines from BOL each day there are games.
4. The lines are static once posted they will not change for contest purposes. ANY play must be posted at least 90 minutes before a specific game is played.
5. Once a side is picked that position is off the board. But the other side is still available.
6. All plays posted in this thread.
7. SAM will grade and tally the numbers. JDS/River will double check his grading. Pretty simple grading.
8. Once a play is posted it is Final. No changing picks.
9. Commences with the Play-in games and goes to the end of the finals if needed.
10. Player who realizes the most wins takes the prize.
11. Just graded on number of wins as no Vig involved.
12. A push is effectively a loss. Greatest number of wins takes the prize.

OK JDS that is a rundown. Look over the guidelines when able and confirm you agree. I will make you the decent -160 favorite here. Sam 2nd choice. Good Luck Gentlemen.

Some strategy involved for when you post. Post early you get to choose whatever you favor. However, wait until later you may have the benefit of a bad number from the afternoon to play against.

I will keep track of wins/losses/Pushes so we can tally the number of picks made. But all that matters is the number of wins as pushes are effectively counted as a loss.

I Sent JDS a message and inquired if he would be interested. Good way to get some skin in the game without chasing with the books. I favor contests for the most part. I proposed we play for a bill or 2 and JDS countered with $250 buy in. I replied fine.

BOL to both of you fellas. Remember - since this contest is slated to run through the entire NBA Playoffs (approximately 2 months or so) it should be treated as a marathon and not a sprint. So pace yourselves … be selective and try not to force too many plays early (unless you really like something).
