Limit the income of administrative NCAA personnel and transfer their money to players. Why the hell NCAA president getting $2.9m last year while saying players shouldn’t get paid?

Why is a caught foul tip at the plate only actually an out if it is on the 3rd strike?? It hit the bat, it is in the catchers glove than it should be an out. Would speed up game some as well. Or, just get rid of the DH. I like pitchers hitting/bunting and old school baseball.

Too many rules I'd change... I'd take away salary caps for sure and make joining the players unions optional.

For NFL definitely no ties like everyone above already said, and also make touchbacks cost 1 point like in CFL.

For MLB the foul tip rule like Enikk already said, and also remove the 7 inning double header rule and the runners on base for extra innings.

For NHL I'd add an extra referee so that there can crack down on missed calls such as the slashing and cross checking and stick infractions - probably keep the extra ref in the time keepers box so he can watch for centre ice and have power to overrule the others.

Can think of more too but will leave it at that for now:cheers:

How about this. These athletes want to be paid all this money for playing a children's games than they should have to pay when they fvck up. $1,000 per fvck up to a children's cancer/other disease charity. Miss a free throw. $1,000. Throw an int or fumble $1,000. holding penalty $1,000. Jump offsides $1,000. Yellow card $1,000. Hold these fvckers accountable and support these children that don't deserve to go through the suffering they do.

Create a 5 point line (half court). If you make a shot beyond half-court, you get 5 pts. This would add a whole new twist to the game. If a team is down by 10 or even 15 with a couple minutes left, they could start taking long-shots in a wild attempt to get back in it.

In high school we had a guy (5'-2" 135 lbs) that just practiced half-court shots over and over at the end of each day. He'd do this for 30-60 minutes every day. He sucked at b-ball in general and was more of an assistant manager than a player but he did sit dressed on the bench. He got pretty good at those shots. Every so often at the end of a half/game we'd unleash our secret weapon to launch a rocket. It was spectacular. The crowd would chant for him to be put in for the show.

Also, I'd eliminate the euro-step or the Harden step-back shot. I mean its getting ridiculous what's allowed now.

These are rarely called anymore except by old school refs over 60 yo ...

One last item I'd change. Eliminate NIL payments. We're going to see the schools with deep alumni pockets separate in quality completely from everyone else.

It was already happening in football. NIL rules will just allow it across the board in every sport.

I realize it doesn't seem fair for schools to make so much money off their players, but the current rules will make any 4 & 5 star player go to the highest bidding school now.
