Can you imagine BMR circa 205O with a robot JJ creating 2 dozen non sensical threads a day ?

Will the technology have came so far in that time that AI will be able to manage as many misspelled words as JJ ?

Will the robot be equally as bad at picking winners ?

The only thing I can think we can safely assumed is just like the gen 1.0 JJ - the robot will have zero chance of getting laid.

The are still useful but I see most people leaning towards X, Reddit etc…

correct

you aren't going to see an influx of 20 year olds here..like we did at places like SBR, EOG, Therx back in 1999-2005

instead all the forums are like what peeps place was 10 years ago

The venue is constantly changing - the only constant is the content and commenters.

Forums came about from message boards which took over for face to face interactions in a local bar.

The topics though are as old as time and tossed around by the same group of 30-60 year olds with the occasional fresh face tossed in.

Very legitimate point from JJ (I’m as shocked as anyone).

The issue with social media is it’s so crowded with content - most doesn’t stand out if it’s not pushed by the platform.

I mean to be fair - same issue with forums in the heyday. So many users - and it was the owners/mods who kept threads going vs a program. But 1000 people talking and no one listening at times.

This is why forums will stay around in some form long for gambling - gamblers are set in their ways. Just look at the few old fogies hanging around a horse track still for proof of that.
