What does this mean? I have a history of using 1 game? That’s just blatantly wrong lol

Plus I listed 8 games. Are you a Washington fan or something?

Books are wrong sometimes, but it’s not hard to conclude that Oregon is better than Washington. An outcome of a single game doesn’t make a book “wrong”. That’s not how lines work. Like if Washington finds a way to win Friday, that doesn’t make the “line wrong.”

The line should be about Oregon -11, so this line actually looks pretty efficient.
You only listed the line of 1 game to make a specific point, not to make the point we were talking about before. Two different points. Your muddling things together.

You don't understand how lines work then. If the result quite a bit off from the line then the books were off and that works for just one game.

Not sure what you mean by that first part. Very confusing

The line isn’t automatically off if the game doesn’t result on the number or close to it. Washington could win by 3. Oregon could win by 28. Doesn’t mean the line was wrong in either case

Sports books don’t overreact to one game sample sizes

Washington winning is well within the range of outcomes

Oregon winning by 3+ touchdowns is well within the range of outcomes

The line is still accurate. This game is probably one of the more accurately lined games

It seems you and I are using different reasoning as to how we come to our separate conclusions. I look forward to watching the game to see what bears out.

Thanks for the spirited conversation. (y)

Good win guys
That line was way off
Washington played a great game, and Oregon did not play to the level they have been playing.

Doesn’t mean the line was “way off”. One game sample sizes don’t prove anything about a betting line

Like I said earlier, Washington winning was well within the range of outcomes given that line
