Very good player nothing more strikes out too much not a high RBI total if you look at all the years

Alonso is actually beter than his stats indicate..

You look at the Mets lineup (below - from last night is typical). Alonso has ZERO support behind him in the lineup. Pitchers are not going to throw to him because the lineup is so weak behind him. Even with that, the guy is pounding the ball this year.
