I hate to jump on the bandwagon so late but, Boone has been given the talent to win. He's done OK at best with what he was given.

He's had 3 League Championship Series appearances (losing 2 of them) and one World Series appearance (2024 - Losing to Dodgers).

I think there is always higher expectations from the public for the Yankees so maybe we are pushing the bar a little too high.
