I already got my two Moderna shots back in March/April but I am thinking about getting the booster as well. Has anyone here gotten it yet? Any negative side effects?

Thankfully after my first two shots besides a little bit of arm soreness I didn’t really see any major side effects from it. I know some my friends got really sick from it but they felt better in a couple days. They said it felt almost like the flu and they were really tired.

I received the booster yesterday. Today I feel kind of sluggish and I feel like I want go back to bed despite sleeping 7/8 hours last night. Slight headache and arm soreness as well

Moderator Optional banned me from posting at the SBR forum, just for having my own opinion about covid and the vaccine.

The reason for the ban was that it is a sports forum... funny in a way because those who Optional agrees with, are still posting there about covid and other stuff that is not sports related.

So if you post anything there, make sure Optional agrees with your post. Otherwise you might get a permanent ban.

i got the Pfizer booster about 2 months ago. of the 3 Pfizer shots i had, the booster left me with the least amount of arm soreness. it was only mildly sore for about 24 hrs after and then completely disappeared, whereas my arm was pretty sore for a good 4 to 5 days after each of my first 2 shots.

however, only the booster left me feeling a bit sick the day after i got it. overall nothing too bad, but i kinda felt like i had a head cold (some headache, fogginess, dizziness) along with some general fatigue. i generally avoid lying in bed or taking naps during the day, but i really felt like doing so that day. anyway, after the second night's sleep, i felt back to normal.

Had J&J last spring. Got Moderna booster last month. Just a sore arm. My wife works in an ICU and treats covid patients every day. Risk of exposure was very high so felt I should stay vaccinated too.

Stepping up on soap box for a minute.....
Everyone should get the vaccination. My wife tells horror stories about how people slowly die from covid. Obviously, dying is never a good thing, but they way they pass is exceptionally bad (not like you hear about someone passing away in their sleep or from a massive heart attack/stroke where its over quickly). These people suffer cardiac arrest numerous times and are resuscitated over and over for hours or days until it no longer works. Once they've started this cardiac arrest cycle/resuscitation there is near zero chance of recovery.

The worst part... almost everyone in ICU with covid is intubated and put into an induced coma. Twice a day they have to flip the patients from their backs to their stomachs and vice versa in the evenings to try and help keep their lungs clear. The interns come in to help the nurses complete this task. The interns have done it so much they refer to it as, "The flipping of the dead" because only 20% recover from being intubated. Some of these interns are sick SOBs.
Stepping off soap box.....

:peace:Peace and love my friends.
