Hardcore Pawn or Pawn Stars?

I like both shows but Hardcore Pawn is much more entertaining. Ashley has aged but lost a lot of weight.

Porn Stars is all fake. People come in with stuff and they do a rehersal of what's going down and then film it. Hardcore has some "setups' but is mostly street people coming in to sell. I like when they get the big bodyguard to come over and escort them out of the store.

Not sure why you're bringing porn stars into this but I think you have the greater than less than sign reversed...

Don't be fooled by the TV Tanko, it's all scripted, street people or not. They just fooled you for one of the shows.

Remember, that undercover cop car you see probably isn't the undercover cop, lol, it's more likely that cab that just drove by.

Things are never what they seem. That will be the key to march madness as well.

Yes - it’s all faked.

Pawn Stars was horribly scripted - especially the first few years. You regularly would recognize the people “bringing” things in to make a deal as employees - and the items featured as junk that had been lying around there for years. Feature it on the show - mark it up 5x what it’s worth and sell to some chump tourist because it was on Pawn Stars.

I’ve known people who have dealt regularly with both shops selling collectibles - The boys in Vegas are considerably lower budget when buying. Not that the right item couldn’t attract a serious offer - but only if they knew they had it sold the minute you walked out the door. The boys from Detroit take bigger swings when it comes to buying - sometimes it works out well for them.
