🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Remember last year, the Jets score 23 in the 4th quarter and beat the Bungles in Cincinnati?!?! Had they lost that game, I think they would’ve eventually wound up with the first draft pick, not the Raiders, and more than likely would’ve taken Mendoza. Instead - they basically just did the Raiders a HUUUGE favor by taking this idiot off of their hands…..

Justin Field can't read the room. Might be the only reason why they chose Geno Smith now. lol

Geno Smith is widely perceived as a bridge quarterback, a placeholder until the New York Jets identify their long-term solution in the 2026 or 2027 NFL draft. Coach Aaron Glenn sees him in a different light.

"I just feel like he's the guy that's going to lead us to the promised land," Glenn said Tuesday morning at the NFL's annual meeting.

That's quite a statement, considering Smith, 35, is coming off his worst statistical season since 2014, when he was a second-year starter for the Jets. He threw a league-high 17 interceptions last season for the Las Vegas Raiders, but he played well enough from 2022 to 2024 with the Seattle Seahawks to make Glenn believe his recently acquired starter is capable of big things.
