Diesel prices are over 5$ per gallon ridiculous.

In that shit state called California it's around 6.50 per gallon. Like straight up why the f*** would anyone want to in that shit state.

LOL just recently they announced they will go broke within a year & in need of help from Congress

Now suddenly they are raising rates because of 'gas prices'

Maybe they should stop paying their employees $50 per hour :rolleyes:

When email/interwens/digital docs/ etc. basically came out it doomed the post office.

The post office should have gone into the copy business, they could have been like a UPS store or a Kinkos and just had a money making business that adapted to the change while also still getting the mail done.

They should have expanded way back then, not saying it would have positively worked, but it would have given the Postal Service a chance by providing other services for profit.

That's my .02 cents on that, but it only cost .015 cents on Kalshi...lol.

Curious do you have a mailbox or P.O. Box?

I have both since 5yrs ago & annually it goes up quite a bit

Yeah we have a PO Box with the education foundation for the High School and that's gone up too.

Remember, Post office doesn't use taxpayer funds and generate like 80 billion in revenue while losing money.

And you're right, the biggest expense are the employees pay, benefits, etc.

I think the idea was to break even, but I don't think they've done that since the 2000s.
