Seems like @theriver55 indicated, there was slim pickens on the womens side this year.
Tennessee probably got in as a "Legacy Pick".... I'm joking of course but their history may have helped them get selected by the committee.

Its pretty sad when one of the factors they are supposed to consider is recent game performance (i.e. last 10 games) when making selections.
