I agree ref stopped fight too early but maybe Barroso reminded him of his grandpa and didn't want to let him get hurt.

Barroso looks like he's ~ 70 yo.

Always better to be too early than too late. Everybody will get paid regardless and will probably get paid for another fight. Fighter may not like the ref now but how about when he is 60 playing with his grandkids instead of being dead or a drooling vegetable.

But that's the thing.

Not only was that guy winning the fight, but the ref called off the fight when punches weren't landing.

That's the part that is under fire.

If he was getting knocked around in the head, I agree with you, no doubt about it. But the replays seem to show otherwise and everyone involved doesn't like the stoppage.

Will there ever be some kind of charitable model, say for Angleman Foundation at BMR.

Maybe a way to turn in coins, but we might need more ways to garner coins for that to happen.
