I'm the last guy to give you advice on unit size and the like.

But looking back at your oversized (5x? 10x? 20x?) bet on the Ravens, at prohibitive juice, I can't help but think...

...that it's always a better idea to just upgrade your unit size, and make hundreds of 1.1u or 1.25u bets, and never go out on a limb like you did with the Ravens... than bet precisely 1.0u all year long and then go BANG, there's my 20x YOLO bet.

I don't doubt you can win big ones. But have you considered making *every bet you make* a little bigger instead? Do you think you may be in trouble with your usual bookmaker if you hit 70% in college basketball, betting 1.25u vs hitting 70% betting 1.00u? Does your daily success make you revisit the decision to go big that time, and will you do it again?

@KVB would like to know! haha

I will never do that again, lesson finally learned here. No wager should fit a criteria of a 10X margin. I should’ve only bet the Ravens 2X at the very most. Throughout the football season I had bets of 2.5-3K four times and I went 3-1.

So I have won the bigger bet to offset some of that 10K colossal loss, but like I said ”never again” will I do that. For the foreseeable future I wanna keep my bets between 1-1.5K and nothing more.

Didn’t you win last night?

Nice call

The Super Bowl comes once per year

You cannot compare or lump that wager & the amount in with all of the rest throughout the year because of the entertainment factor

I didn’t bet more on the AFC Championship game because it’s an annual thing, I took the Ravens for that large because I was already up 15K in January and I was extremely confident they would reach the Super Bowl this year. Yes this game did win last night Wags.

I always bet more on the Super Bowl regardless and I know many others do as well

Yes we are betting to win but again, it only comes once per year and we should enjoy it

it’s no different than all of the crazy props bettors play for fun

Glad to see you going into the weekend strong

Don’t overdo it tonight so you can enjoy the moment and Saturday when you attack

By the way, let’s not forget in all reality Baltimore was the right side in that game

Remember the fluke fumble on the TD dive at the goal line? Remember Lamar throwing the interception in the end zone from 10yd line?

Yeah it’s old news but never has a team been as lucky with turnovers on their run to a Super Bowl as Kansas City was this year in every game

JDS solid and steady as they come! It's a pleasure to read your insight and thought process behind your plays. As always, thanks for sharing.
Yeah ever since I found BMR, I have been taking my betting thought process & betting strategies a lot more seriously. This is fun for me, but at the same time if I was not winning all the fun would be taken away.

As a seasoned gambler for over 20 years.
I know at any moment I can start losing if I get lazy and complacent. I have been avoiding negative variation as well with my best bets, but I know all to well that won’t last forever, so definitely enjoying this ride.
