I told myself I would stop addressing this issue since getting my winnings back was a hopeless endeavor. I spent a lot of energy on this issue for months on end. A constant effort to contact Mybookie and Xbet every day to try and convince them that what they're doing to their players is outright shameful and disgusting. Thinking about how much money these sportsbooks scammed me out of killed me every day. And as I see them on Twitter and various media outlets promoting that they're the best sportsbook and convincing people to gamble on their site, I cannot let them just get away with what they did.

I will try my best to explain everything that happened to the best of my ability since it is a long and somewhat complicated situation.

Back in January of last year, I was gambling on Mybookie and Xbet and from January 2021 through March 2021, I went on a very hot streak and won about $200,000 and had $100,000+ in my Mybookie account and $100,000 in my Xbet account. I was betting on pretty much everything, sports, playing slots in the casino, and blackjack or baccarat in the live dealer casino as well. Everything was going great, I grew my accounts to $100,000 each and was sitting comfortably, and every week I made a withdrawal of $2,000, which is the weekly withdrawal limit for Mybookie and Xbet, which is extremely low and benefits the sportsbooks.

One day in March, I tried to log into my account and I received a message stating that my account had been disabled for "security reasons". Never seen this message before so I contacted customer service and the 1st rep that i spoke with said that it was a routine check that they did on players' accounts which were chosen at random. He told me that I have nothing to worry about and I would be able to get back into my account shortly.

Thinking nothing of it, I said okay I will give it 1 day and try again. So after 1 day, I tried again, but still the same message. I contact customer service again and the 2nd rep tells me something different. Now I start to question what is going on now because something doesn't seem right. The customer service department continues to give me the runaround despite my attempts to contact them by phone and by live chat. In about 3-4 weeks I finally get an email from Mybookie telling me that my account has been permanently disabled due to a malfunction in one of the slot games and I took advantage of it, which is why the funds generated from the slot game will be voided, as well as all other winnings in my account.

The game they're referring to is a game called, Take the bank, which is created by the gaming company BETSOFT. This game consists of 5 reels, 75 pay lines,.Watch out for the HEIST SPINS; every spin brings you closer to a bomb explosion. Collect robbers on the reels and every 10 spins they will turn into a WILD symbol, busting the vaults wide open.

In the game a player is allowed to change their bet amount at any time so you can bet $0.20 $1 , $2 , $5, $20 a spin etc , So, for example, you start with $5 spins and after the 6 spins you get barely any bombs or even no bombs, you can change your bet amount to $2 and start over. But if you do, any bombs collected go away and you just reset and start your 10 spins.

Anyone who plays slots knows that you should never bet the max amount every time, so it's good to bet small sometimes, and when you are comfortable bet a bigger amount. So changing my bet amount was the "malfunction I took advantage of " according to Mybookie and Xbet, and was the reason why they said they had the right to void all my winnings and essentially my whole account.

Ever since the game was created back in 2019, this feature has always been a part of the settings and gameplay. When did changing your bet amount in a slot game, which allows you to, be considered a malfunction?? I never altered or manipulated any part of the game, I merely played it the way it was presented to me and all other players. To prove to Mybookie and Xbet that I never did anything wrong, I contacted BETSOFT and told them about the whole situation and told them what Mybookie and Xbet claimed to be a “malfunction” in one of their slot games.
They stated that this was indeed NOT a flaw or malfunction and they would try to resolve the whole situation with Mybookie and Xbet , but in the end, never did anything about it. ( I’ll post the screenshot of my conversation with BETSOFT)

I believe they didn't try to resolve the situation because they didn't want to take any responsibility for this because, not only did it affect me, but hundreds of other players were affected too. And so much money was at stake, they didn't want to be financially responsible and have to pay all those players back, or they didn't want their name to be involved in another scandal like this, and have their brand name be diminished once again. The game has always been created this way and Mybookie and Xbet have had this game on their site for over 4 years and never said anything about this or even addressed this concern. If it was a malfunction, how did it take them 4 years to finally notice, and if this is true, you have been allowing players to play this game with this so-called “malfunction” for 4 years? If my winnings are voidable because of this malfunction, shouldn't players who have lost be able to claim the same thing then? Because you allowed players to play a slot game that was “malfunctioning” so you say. And the ironic thing is, it's still on their site to this day! How are you going to put a game on your site for players to play, and then accuse them of finding a malfunction and void all their winnings when they win, and then continue to leave the game on your site for other players to play. Take it down from your site then, if it has a “malfunction”

Xbet even promoted the game on their casino homepage with my name and winnings to try and show people if you play this game look at how much you could win! They made it seem like they paid me out all my winnings but instead closed my account and never tried to address the problem or pay me out. ( I will post the picture of the casino homepage with my name and winnings)

I won a large amount playing slots but that's not where all of my winnings came from. A majority of my winnings came from betting on sports and I never even got those winnings. I have screenshots of a few of my big sports wins which I will post to validate my story and that what I'm saying is true. This whole situation has been awful and it truly sucks because I earned all of it and was planning on helping my Mom buy a house but that dream went out the window and these scammers continue to profit off of other players.

I'm most likely never going to see this money again and it truly sucks. I continue to think about it every day, but maybe there's a slim chance I can get that money back somehow, but if I cant, I want to at least warn other people not to use these scumbags because I don't want the same thing that happened to me, happen to other people.

Thanks, everybody and if anyone out there can help, I would appreciate it!

The following is my conversation with BETSOFT, the company that actually created the game. In their first statement, they state that this was not a malfunction, as Mybookie and Xbet had claimed. Although Betsoft appears cooperative and willing to help the players resolve this issue, as we dig deeper into the case, their willingness to assist the players quickly disappears. There's a sense that they don't want to take any responsibility for their own product and mistake and begin to tell me that there's nothing they can do. Really?? Didn't you create and produce this game?

Because on your website it states, “Betsoft’s commitment to excellence has made us a leader in our space. In keeping with this pledge we have pursued and obtained independent certifications and licensing in numerous igaming markets. As a result of these efforts as well as the quality of our products, we have secured a loyal client base. We currently service a wide variety of operators throughout both Europe as well as the Americas.”

If what you're claiming is true, this shouldn't have happened in the first place. Every game must pass certain certifications to be released to the public, whether it is the design, functionality, etc., yet you've had this game out for two years and now there is a problem?

MyBookie is terrible. I got in years ago and got out asap, never to return.
Yup ! Havent used them ever since this incident . Just dont want other people to get scammed by them. Also want to bring attention to what BETSOFT did as well. They screwed over so many people with what they did, its outrageous how they havent been held responsible for it.

MyBookie claim that about 50 separate players exploited a setting flaw to win quite a few million dollars between you.

Their regulator and a third party gaming software "expert" backed them up in cancelling all play from those players.

Whilst I agree that Betsoft was not held to account for whatever their part was in this error, which would have been embedded at the time they compiled the MyBookie versions of their games, there is no chance that MyBookie/Xbet will change mind and pay anyone with that ruling in their back pocket.

In fact MyBookie attacked us for even "daring to advocate" for this group they feel so strongly about it.

Why wasn't this issue stopped immediately then once that "setting flaw" was triggered? How would players even know that they're even exploiting a setting flaw if the game's functionality and gameplay was built and intended that way since the game was first released in 2019. And I have proof of this because I have screenshots and recordings of the game and gameplay allowing players to perform this so called setting flaw.

And the setting flaw they claim we exploited was changing the bet amount of your spin . The game even has a pop up window asking players are you sure you want to change bet amount, proving that the game was built and intended for players to perform this option if they wanted to , or else why would they implement this pop up window in the first place? Because the game has always allowed players to do so because that was part of the gameplay ever since its release.
