So guys, the cruise I will be going on next week has a robotic bartender. Basically you have an iPad that you can order drinks from and robots make them. The cool thing about this is they give you a list of spirits, mixers, garnishes, etc., on an iPad where you can create your own custom drink and re-order it throughout the week. They also have popular drinks that are custom-made.

So let’s get some drink ideas guys and have some fun with us throughout the time I’m on the ship. Give me some custom drink ideas that you think I might like and I will order the drink on the iPad and review it! If I like it, I could save it as a favorite drink and drink it throughout my trip!

Ingredients:
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Coffee Liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
1-3 oz Cream (or half-and-half, milk, or heavy cream)
A splash or 1-2 oz of Cola (such as Coca-Cola)
Ice
Optional: Maraschino cherry for garnish

Actually WAGS the cruise I’m going on in February is a carnival cruise. In my opinion, I believe carnival just gets a bad rap due to social media, but I’ll see when I get on the ship.

Who is getting that tip money??

$18 per person per day unless you’re in a suite and then that goes up to $21.50. That money goes to your housekeeper that cleans your cabin along with the dining room team.

Then each drink is charged an automatic 18% gratuity. I have the drink package complementary so it doesn’t matter to me in that regard.

If I really wanted to, I could go and remove all the tips and get that money back and just give cash to who I deem necessary

I actually just like the fact that I can be my own bartender so to speak and make my own cocktails in a way. Not to mention on those cruises, most of the staff are from other countries and they are mostly male bartenders from my past experiences

I dont like it. Robotic bartender takes away from the social vibe of a bar setting and oversight/ security for female visitors.

You'll be less likely to find a single woman sitting at the bar without a bartender. Bad move for dudes and terrible for society.
