wife, mom, sister, all 4 neighbors and 8 of my 12 co workers.

Anyone else see it going on anywhere.

Looks like it might not be as a bad as the original

Wife is a nurse. She said there has been an big increase in Covid patients at the hospital. No one has passed away from it there.

It is a different strain than before and nothing like 2020. Probably everyone has had a vaccine or has been exposed to the virus already so the impact on the patients has been much less significant.

Obviously the elderly and immune compromised could develop more complications but its nothing like 2020.

Hopefully, it stays that way.

Effects not as severe - at least the obvious ones.

Still a lot to be learned about this virus and its effect on the heart and lungs.

Reality is it’s not severe - but the body cannot respond optimally to a “new” threat - it doesn’t know what it’s defending against and can create issues. This is why it was so damaging amongst those who had compromised immunity to start.

I got Covid a few months ago. Slight fever of 100.8. My doctors said "that's hardly even a fever". Scratchy throat, runny nose.

I got to work from home for 3 weeks. I was slightly tired but I could do my job for the whole day. I got really good sleep.

I kind of hope I get it again. I could use the good sleep.
