BMR should definitely have a March Madness contest. A bracket contest or make picks against the spread.

So here is my March Madness picks contest. First round posters make 8 picks against the spread. second round 6 picks against the spread, third round 4 picks against the spread, etc, etc. In the final game, you just pick the winner. You get the idea.

That would be a good time.

Or better yet, each person gets 25 picks against the spread and they can pick whatever they want. Each person gets their own thread to make picks in in a contest forum. I think I have a winner.

I'd like to see an NHL contest, obviously for the playoffs, but if there was a weekly contest that'd be good too.

For the playoffs bracket style is easiest to manage.

For weekly, it'd have to be a weekend pool, or if one day Saturday has the most games since Saturday had always been Hockey Night in Canada - just choosing the winners and an exact score for tiebreaker should be enough for a pool.

definitely want to do the bracket contest, but mlb restarting season contest seems to be a popular one out there. will see what we can do

I like the idea of a Tourny bracket contest using a free site to track picks to make it easier. I would hate to see someone have to track the tourny picks ATS round-by-round. What a mess.

Is that something that is allowed or would BMR have to pay a "fee" for starting a contest group on a big name site (e.g. E S P N or elsewhere)?

I'm kind of surprised Rudy didn't mention golf contest. He'd probably making win since he's the one on this site with the knowledge/experience.
