Feel bad for him - stating he wanted to stay in San Diego and having already renegotiated once and willing to do it again - especially knowing they had plenty of cap space.

Yea - he was hurt a lot but came back strong last year. He’s a solid short term solution for someone at 29 - probably got 3-4 good years left and reality is even if you draft someone and they work out - your only getting 4 years out of them anyway.
