In roughly a 9.5 point game I figure the no vig line here of -125.74/+125.74 with Toronto favored. Pinny is dealing a no vig line of -137.90/+137.90 and offering +133 for Pit.

You can see, at the current market, that there is just enough overlay for my "sharp" line to be halting the Pit price from rising. As of now, I'd consider the sharp side of the market leading on the dog and thus "truer" no vig price here of about +133 is in play.

The "sharps" are stopping the public from raising the Toronto line with the current hold. Perhaps losing 5 straight like Fazzer said has taken it's toll on the public betting even if there some looking for that streak to break.

Let's see how this trades going forward today.

For more on leading and lagging lines, public and sharp driven, this is a good reference...

In roughly a 9.5 point game...

Big news here is that I Forecast an OVER and that's a bit controversial among some of us, lol.

BOL willing to deal an 8.5 but charging for that OVER.

The market is on that edge, with some tempting prices at 9, I feel I have a pretty solid Forecast and a decent grip on this game, but that Total requires some watching.

I'd be shocked if they don't make 68. I know its early but, they are on an 84-85 win pace.
It would require a pretty bad collapse or a lot of injuries not to make it.

Using Bill James scoring pythagorean, their record is about what would be expected for their for/against scoring pace.
