It was a couple of days worth of irrigation, not the end of the world.

But it sure feels like an Emperor has no clothes situation. I can't tell if the "experts" in his orbit are really that clueless or if they just let Trump believe whatever he thinks up.

The fact is that water was never going to get into LA and while some went the ocean, the rest went to the retention basins that eventually replenish the groundwater.

But the straight admission by the White House that they have no clue, through Trumps "tweets" is more than astonishing.

Just crazy.

Only other real explanation is that Trump is intentionally trying to hurt California farmers, especially the smaller ones.

There just isn't room to play around with the water here like that.
