Hi - A few months - year ago there were reports of BM/JB freezing accounts and asking for selfies, etc which made it pain to get payouts. Have there been any recent reports of this?

Yes, but it seems rare. I think they do it when something seems suspicious. Like if you regularly login and place bets from a phone in California, and then request a payout from a laptop in Florida.
They are A+. Perfectly safe sportsbook to use. I use them everyday.

No, they took away bonus and bet points. But their lines are so opinionated they are definitely still worth having around.
You don't have to do a ton of winning to have your bonuses taken away.

Ironically, while I've had some strange KYC requests over the past few years, Bookmaker is the only Book to freeze my account and hold money hostage for over 3 months. I got the run-around forever and it wasn't until I said I would start bringing this up on the forums until any movement was made and they finally unlocked my account. I think it was an anomaly but proof that we are only a bad circumstance away from something like that anywhere, even with the domestic US books that are licensed, to be honest.

I'm pretty sure I know what led to them unlocking it because of timing but it was brutally bad communication on their part. I had a BM account and then months later, opened a JustBet account. Thing is, I got on to support and asked them if this was an issue because I couldn't afford to lose my BM account and before I deposited one cent, they said it's perfectly fine. 3 Days later both accounts were locked and then the nightmare began with weekly checks and weekly excuses.

About a year and a half ago now. Seems like they are still pretty highly rated by the people we would take for their word on these boards.
