True Christ died and paid the price of sin for the whole world, so while that is universal, the added part of that verse, “especially of those who believe”, let's us know who specifically it applies to.

Perhaps the word “all”, is what is throwing you off. The Greek word used is “pas”, meaning in this verse “many types or kind”.

God is everyone's Savior for those who accept that offer. sadly not all (or many) do or will.

Many moons ago, driving up for guy weekends, Buffalo Bill’s used to do “A dog & a draft for a buck-&-a-half” at one of the bars. A $#!TTY hot dog with condiments in packets and a 12oz. Bud Light in a plastic cup for $1.50 - we’d fill up on that $#!T, and get back on the 15 freeway full & slightly buzzed for like $15 each…..
