It found resistance at 18k I guess

But....

Rumor has it that 3AC (Three Arrows Capital) went insolvent and this was a liquidation purchase.

Done over the weekend to delay reporting???

Who knows, but I'm guess if US Equities drop another 5% this week that BTC will plunge below that 18k level and I'm think 10k might be a realistic next resistance level.

How Ace?

Anywhere you buy from now they will require info right?
Correct for major exchanges. There are other ways to buy crypto though. I have bought a lot of mine with cash directly from someone else. There's actually a name for it: "Non-KYC Crypto"
The only person on Earth that knows I own that crypto is the person I bought it from.
It's not as convenient, but it's certainly doable if it's a priority for you.

You can also take a look at Bisq. It's a fully anonymous exchange.
Thanks! I almost forgot about Bisq. Checked it out a couple of years ago but then didn't use it. Will check it out again. The big exchanges have never made sense to me. they just feel like the extended arm of big finance and govenrments infiltrating bitcoin/crypto to make it adapt to their rules.

There's still a couple players that will liquidate I'm guessing.

Noone has the right answer. There are smart people who think 1 bitcoin will be worth $250,000 by 2030 and then again guts like Buffet & Powell say it's worth $0

It's certainly not disconnected from the general US economy, so in that sense, wouldn't an asset like Netflix, PayPal or Ceasars be a better gamble, each is down over 50% ytd, they pay a dividend, and could double in weeks.

I think it will go down near 10k by Nov/dec when everyone must have their info turned in for tax purposes

I think it is time to refuse from bitcoin and just sell it. Personally, I have already exchanged it using my crypto wallet into 2k euros.

Well, maybe I am doing a big mistake and BTC and Ethereum will rise in a cost next year or months but I doubt it. Today the situation is a bit stable but tomorrow some Elon Musk or Bill Gates will decide to buy/sell something and the situation will be unstable again on the market.

Seems like the second half of 2022 year will be interesting...
