Betezy is an Aussie bookmaker. There is no Betezy thread here at BMR so I am starting one. There is no formal rating or mention of Betezy in the Bookmaker Ratings section of BMR. Another forum site has indicated some potential issues with Betezy: In 2011 it was stated that Betezy is a slow payer and in 2011 it was stated that Betezy had some kind of trouble with NRL (Aussie Rugby League) sponsorships and websites. I have seen no information whatsoever for Betezy in 2012. I have seen some limited information for Betezy for 2013 indicating they may be a little slow as payers and they may not always honour the specific terms of certain bonuses they offer. However, I have seen no information for 2012 and 2013 indicating that Betezy is a genuine slow payer or that Betezy does not pay.

This thread is started specifically for punters to input their experience with Betezy - are they a slowpayer, have they ever not actually paid, are they a good payer and pay when they should? All experiences from 2012 and 2013 are gratefully received here. Thanks!!

Here is Betezy rating history from 2008 to 2011 when the rating was eventually suspended after they were taken to court by a rugby league club.

At that time we invited players to submit feedback and the closest we have had to a player's complaint was a player asking if we ever received any complaint about Betezy from other players, which we haven't so far.

Hello. I am very grateful for your reply. Thanks.

I note that the rating was suspended in December 2011 (approximately 1.5 years at the time of this post) and that you have had no feedback re: Betezy since. This leads me to believe that although Betezy represents somewhat of a risk, there have been no actual cases of no-pay in the last 1.5 years. In this way it is similar to the current Greek position - no actual cases of genuine foul play, but a "running risk" nevertheless.

Once gain - I am very grateful for your response.

I personally haven't used Betezy or any of their numerous white labels for a while. But I had no problems with payouts.

I too have read of such complaints but my understanding is that it comes down to players not being familiar with their unique (in Australia) approach of delaying payments to a particular day of each week. Not sure what day that is but if you miss it then you may have to wait a week for payment. All other Aussie books I deal with pay within 24 hours.

A couple of years back they did get into a bit of strife with their regulator for some corporate documentation irregularities I think as opposed to any punter complaints. And there was also a dispute regarding contract conditions with a sporting club and one of their white label sites but I think that's now all been resolved.

I know of a couple of punters who do use them and are quite happy with them but don't like their software platform.

Hi All - I thought I would attempt to reignite this old thread as my last post was around 2 months ago. Does anyone have any recent (up to a year ago) experience with Betezy?

- Do they pay in the end (albeit a little slow)?
- Has anyone had any issues with Betezy of any kind in the last year?

Any information whatsoever about Betezy is gratefully received.... Thanks to all.

they limit after a while, but in all the times i've played there i've never had a payout problem. they only payout once a week and on one ocassion they missed mine. i contacted them and a few days later it was in my bank account.
i can't judge their current financial position and i'm not a big fan of their new website, but they never struck me as anything even remotely resembling a scam. don't expect your withdrawal to be processed in one or even several days though.

Hi guys. I have recent experience with Betezy and I am not at all impressed. I signed up on the promise of $500 free bets, but it was only after three phone calls that they agreed to honour their promotion. When they did, they limit the bets on sport to $100 per market (regardless of price). Their racing website is a shambles and I tried for 45 minutes and was unable to place a single bet.

I requested a withdrawal of winnings on 21 December and as at today's date (30 December) the funds are still sitting in my Betezy account. I decided I'd punt it and try to lose it just to square the account away for good, but of course the bet won. So now I'm trying to withdraw even more. The withdrawal request is listed as 'submitted' but the balance of funds is still in my account.

I clicked their 'live help' button to try to clarify, and after waiting 15 minutes with the promise that someone 'would be with me shortly', they eventually decided no one was available and I should try again later.

So far they have demonstrated they are "slow to pay", with a possible "did not pay"... I'll keep you posted, as it appears they're good at taking your money but not so good at giving it back.

Magpie,
re: the $100 free bet limit. I too suffered the same thing but the trick is you need to phone them for more and I've found they will honour the $500 committment.

re: slow payments - refer my earlier post in this thread about what day of the week you requested it

re: live chat - yes, not always available and operators not particularly capable in my experience to date

I accepted their very generous offer of a 25% free bet bonus (x3 rollover on the initial deposit only) for a $25k deposit. Other than the fact that I've found it very difficult to find competitive odds on which to play them all's been well so far. I've turned over my initial deposit (largely on tote based products) and withdrawn most of my funds which I received within 48 hours.

As promised, here's the update...

Today I received an email from Betezy saying my withdrawal was rejected because there were no funds left in the account. The reason there's no funds left is because I got so sick of waiting I punted till I lost it and hedged elsewhere -- somewhere I KNOW I'll get my money back in a fraction of the time. Small loss on turnover, but it was worth it.

So my final assessment is they are slow to pay. After waiting 16 days for a response, it became a war of attrition with them and I lost. I wouldn't tie up 25c of my money with them ever again, let alone 25K.

ok, well I too would never be attracted to the place other than for a) that extraordinarily generous bonus offer and b) they have RewardBet which only they and Luxbet do. And Luxbet won't let me bet with them so ...

Betezy's odds for sports are so bad I often wonder if they ever actually do any business on most markets they post.

And when it comes to horse racing, 90% of the time the fixed odds have moved when one tries to bet. I've given up trying.

But on the score of getting paid, I have no concerns with Betezy.

You need to realise that bookies in Australia, unlike in Costa Rica are regulated to the extent that they are required to maintain the value of client funds in trust accounts.

Whilst we saw the ACT regulator fail miserably in that regard over SportsAlive, I'm pretty confident that the NT regulator which is responsible for most of the major bookies including Betezy is doing the job we expect of them.
