Betbutler doesn´t answer my emails for more than a week now.
I was asked id, sent it promptly and since then no answer.
I sent three emails asking about my withdrawal only received automated answers.
Any help or suggestions?

Betbutler seems legit. I've been on the phone with them several times in past for VIP status. If you are trying to reach them, call them. See if their answers are not in your spam folder as well.
I'm from Portugal as well, if you need assistance, send PM.

There seem to be a fair number of reports on forums about delays to payouts and affiliate payments. Some of these do seem to be being resolved slowly, but a lot of people are still waiting, and the free bets being advertised in places like the Racing Post seem to be getting bigger.

I don't think that they are a scam, but they are clearly having problems (technical? financial? both?) at the moment and so should be treated with considerable caution. The main issue I have with them, however, is that, as far as odds on horse racing are concerned, I find that you can almost always get better odds (in some cases much better odds) by shopping around yourself rather than by using the service they provide.

What I have found is that although they claim to offer the best odds from a selection of bookmakers,if one of those bookmakers is offering a stand-out price,it often won't actually be available on their system.Either it just won't show up on their system - or,if it does show up,when you actually try to bet on it,you won't be able to.

I've no problem with the theory behind what they're trying to do (i.e. offer players the best odds available without the players themselves having to go to the time and trouble of finding the odds and getting their bet on) - I just don't think they're doing it as well as they could be.

I've been having the exact same problem for well over a week now. BetButler have sent me two generic emails, one email seemingly from a support representative but I've gotten no answers, nobody there ever seems to respond to any calls and it can take days for them to even acknowledge an email!? If it's not a scam, what is it as it's not a fully functioning online bookmaker!?

You are quite right in saying that they are not functioning as an online bookmaker should and I would advise all players to avoid them at present. I don't know what their problem is, but there is growing evidence to suggest they might be struggling for funds. They are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission (their licence reference number is 25718). Given BetButler's lack of communication, it might be a good idea to contact the Gambling Commission about your concerns.

I've been wary of Betbutler for a while now but note with interest in today's Racing Post that they have bought Bodugi's (now in liquidation) database and have said that they will honour Bodugi client balances.

These are the facts that I have established.
1. BetButler don't answer customer calls (just try ringing their Accounts & Customer service Team at any point throughout the day and it's always busy).
2. BetButler don't respond to customer emails within the timeframe they specify and that's if they respond at all
3. BetButler don't payout on the free bets as advertised in various places online
4. BetButler have answered a call I made to their Trading Desk but he simply referred me to their Customer Service team whom it's impossible to get through to

So why would anyone want to bet with such a company? Even Oddschecker.com advertises BetButler on their site with their free bet offer!?
Is contacting the contact the Gambling Commission and reporting BetButler to Bookmakersforum theonly options available to me?

Before you contact the Gambling Commission, I would email BetButler one last time clearly stating the issues you need them to resolve and giving them a deadline (e.g. five working days) to do so. Say to them in your email that, unless matters are resolved to your satisfaction by said date, then you will lodge a formal complaint against them with the UK Gambling Commission. For the time being the Gambling Commission route is the one to take. If that fails, there are other longer-term options open to you, but they can be extremely time-consuming and potentially very expensive and you should think carefully before choosing to go down such a road (e.g. beginning court proceedings against BetButler for non-payment of debt). If you prefer to write to BetButler rather than sending another email, their address is 5th Floor Scriptor Court, 155-157 Farringdon Road, London, EC1R 3AD.

Thanks for the response Trevrizent. I will do as you suggest. Even though I'm out of pocket, it's not a massive amount so it would be pointless for me to consider any other longer-term options. I would think that BetButler and others like it count on people not following up on their illegal behaviour by issuing any formal proceedings. I appreciate you providing their address also.

Seems to be the majority rather than minority now experiencing withdrawal issues with betbutler.

Anyone got anything new to add? All I'v. Seen is on the gambling times complaint forum. It's got a list of people waiting on funds.

this is a paradox.hem tell me it was a mistake and returned the money in my account.blocked my account and I can not bet or not to release them for payment. This is so much fun!!see what they responded to me so I have arrears on 23 March of the value!! Dear Tanya

We are writing to advise you of an intermittent problem in respect of withdrawals and refunds processed from February to May 2014.

We have recently been advised by our payment processing provider that due to a technical issue some withdrawals and refunds actioned by ourselves were not fully processed back to the customer.

The reason for the delay in identifying the issue is that it did not impact all transactions only some, and only came to light as a result of customers getting in touch and a joint investigation between ourselves and the provider.

Our payment provider has advised us that they believe the issue to have now been resolved but are continuing to monitoring the situation. However, as it cannot be guaranteed that maintaining the transaction in its current state will result in successful processing, we have determined to cancel the transactions and return the funds back to the players’ accounts.

The funds have now been returned to your account and are classed as your available balance, which you may either chose to bet and play with or request a new withdrawal.

If you fancy a bet, tonight’s exclusive World Cup Offers are:
Eto'o First Scorer Price Boost: 10/1 (From 15/2!)
Enhanced Treble: Spain, Mexico & Chile - 11/2!
We would advise that should we discover at any time in the future that the original withdrawal/refund request was successfully processed, we reserve the right to reverse or seek re-dress for the duplicated amount.

Finally, may we take this opportunity to sincerely apologise, on behalf of both our provider and ourselves, for the disruption and inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you for both your patience and understanding in this matter.

Should you have any further question, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at any time.

Best wishes,

Bet Butler
