To me it’s not even a contest choosing solely between the 2 - Rocks by a mile.

Not a bad KISS album - but the genius with them is the show/showmanship. Listening to their records is fine - but the thing that made them legendary were the shows.

Rocks on the other hand was a superior work all around. Talking about probably the 2nd best Aerosmith record vs maybe the 5th best by KISS.
