I mentioned this in another thread and I am not sure if it makes me a grinch or not, but I wish Christmas was like once every 3 years instead of every year. It is a bit much to go through it every year and I think it would mean more if it happened less often.

But I absolutely hate the holiday season. Too many bad memories around this time of year and too many people gone that I used to celebrate them with. Really would be fine staying home between November 1 and early March myself.

Besides - I now absolutely despise the cold too. Amazing how much of a difference it makes after the cardiac bypass surgery - cold weather constricting veins and such. Hard to breathe - ready to head somewhere warmer - just not too damn warm in Summer.
