Fair Warning: I don't do well in the KY Derby. 2 minutes after the gates open I am always let down. But here are my plays. Win bet on the #19 Golden Tempo. Key the #19 in ex box with 1/6/7/8/9/12/14/15/18. Golden Tempo 30/1 ML. Jose Ortiz in the irons. See what goes down. GL to all.
Awesome handicapping man

It wasn’t luck that we picked it. Didn’t you study or just guess? :) I’m still beating myself over that. You asked me who would win. Than I took my 4th play the lowest odds. Lol so I didn’t bet the 23-1 like you did.:an_brick:
It even paid $11.90 to show. My $300 would have got $1750
Sorry Tank rivers fault. Lol

The speed figures were increasing is why I picked it. Had 4 races before Saturday
82 than 83 than 86 than 88 so he was improving with each race. The low speed figures scared everybody away. Further ado 106. A couple others 100. I won’t make that mistake in Preakness. Lol

I don't guess Sunny on the ponies unless I am putting $2 down before a race and only have 2 minutes to handicap. I studied the form and various other info. Spent about 2-3 hours total. You should have inquired with me why I liked the horse. I know you saw the progression on the velocity numbers. But there were other reasons as well. Like the near bullet works recently. Highest rating for distance in the field from his sire Curlin. Plenty of pace in the race to set up his late run. 2nd time shades. He was about 3/1 in the LA derby now 30/1 ML for this race. Jose Oritz in the irons. solid pace numbers. that is a rundown.

The reason I said got lucky was the #19 came from the clouds. Jose had to work out a trip against 18 others. Just got up. Thought he was too far back.

Don't blame me Sunny you liked the Further Ado and even created a thread, Sounds like you are redboarding now. LOL.

HIs BRIS were better and he scored a 100 on the BRIS last race. comparable to other top numbers in the field.
