I don't think there is any arguement to this.

Ohio St. might have been on the list but the way they played ND, I'm not sure they got what it takes to compete with these two.

As a Buckeye fan I think we should be #3. I do think we will be able to hang with these guys by season’s end though . Bucks missed their top two receivers , including the best receiver in the country in all likelihood

Their defense has improved quite a bit

Agree I’d be totally surprised if the winner of the Bama-Georgia SEC title game isn’t the top overall seed and will play No. 4 in the National semis.

The loser of SEC title game will play in the other National semi just like last year. And I’d be very surprised if it isn’t a Bama-Georgia rematch in the Natty.

Both will be favored by at lease two TDs in every regular-season game

The SEC is the best conference sorta by default.

They have a lot more top-heavy in recent years — not as deep as in the past. But they are still the best because of what they have at the top
