No. Nothing illegal about it. First, I get limited then I get booted. I sleep very well at night. I just have better "information" than the sportsbooks, who are on a delay with their live betting software.
Getting tougher, however, since PAPSA was overturned in 2018.

Anybody should go to a game and try it instead of complaining about me winning from it.
Buy the cheapest ticket and sit in the stands with your laptop.
My retirement is all set because the books continue to hand numbers when the baseball, basketball, football, and puck is in play.
And ALWAYS pay quarterly estimated taxes on your winnings; even if it's offshore. I sleep well at night.

I've always wondered this. I know Sports books are ahead of the at home cable feed. How do they get a special feed? How much is their special feed behind the live action at the game?

One hell of a lot of work to make ~$150-$200k/yr. He was shooting for $500k but his trip took at least 18 months and he lost quite a bit in the middle.

I realize that is a lot of money but JFC he was at it for 18 straight months, traveling, sitting at tables for 10-12 hour stretches, getting kicked out of casinos, etc...

That would get really old quick.
Can't imagine how bad his health was at the end with the stress, comped meals, sitting all the time.

You're probably right. They likely made up a lot of the story to make it more compelling.

It's too good to be true. He would have got banned left and right as soon as he made a few thousand
