i got to agree if you are going to parlay, you need to box it.meaning put the same amount on each team in the parlay and a smaller amount on the outside of the parlay....

I hear ya CK, although gotta admit they're a little bit addicting. Maybe a 3 or 4 teamer and RR but only with picks you're really sure about. Like you say, box 'em and if you have a good day, the parlay is the cherry on top.

Most of my losses lately have been parlays missing out on one or two picks but can't give em up lol!

i would say too parlay when you are up and playing with the book money, never parlay to get back money loss

My wife hit a 8 team NBA parlay about 10 years ago. Paid out 18k ish. Worst win ever because I ended up losing about 40k in the next 3 weeks.

Did your wife give you any of the 18K? Just curious, because in my house, what's mine is hers and what's hers is hers. She has that in a frame on the wall to remind me everyday.

I pay zero attention to the money. She takes care of everything. I read years ago that the husband dies and the wife knows nothing about the money/bills/etc. Didn't want her to fall into that trap.

Similar here. She controls the bills. The problem is she is REALLY stingy.
At the store, I always reach for the Charmin but she makes me get the single ply.
