Couple of things line up with this spread.

1. KenPom has it as Kansas -2
2. Barttorvik has it as Kansas -1
3. Texas Tech has the largest HCA ~4.7 pts in the NCAA.

  • KU was lucky to beat Okla St Saturday at home. They should have lost.
  • Texas Tech should have won at TCU on Saturday but lost with a collapse in the last 4 min of the game.
There are no "gimmies" in the B12 this year. Every game will be rough. I don't see a clear edge on a side but I know KU is due to get beat. Not sure it will be tonight.

If I had to make a play, I think there might be a very slight edge on the under 140. I'm not feeling like its a big enough edge to make a play though.

Every Big12 team (all 10) are in the top 45 on KenPom. This will be a cut-throat conference to play in this season.

Perfect example: Iowa State beating the hell out of #12 Baylor Saturday. ISU was a dog (+1.5) in that game and easily won by 15 at home.

goooood morning gang

if i had to give a lean, id take kansas but i'm not going to put anything on that game.

been looking into hockey today, i like tampa bay -1.5 over the blackhawks. I think they should be able to contain chicagos offense. they have the fewest goals in the nhl this season. i think tb can easily cover that puckline

I'm on Pittsburgh +6.5 at home vs Virginia.

Virginia is #11 on KenPom and Pitt is #66 so it seems like an easy win for Virg but.....
  • Virginia is 1-8 ATS in last 9
  • Pitt is 9-0 ATS in last 9
  • Pitt's last game was against #21 North Carolina at home on Friday and they won by 2 as a 6 point dog. They seem to be stepping up to a higher level of play, especially at home.
