Indeed. Good match whoever wins, even though both of us will probably end up negative units! But it's been fun, and all we can do is try our best - if it was simple to be + units every week, well many of us could easily have made this our profession!

Good luck if you are the one to advance, and thanks to BMR for running this. I'll reiterate that I haven't bet baseball in years since I was not successful at it when I tried, so it's been kind of fun to have some stuff to sweat via this competition over the last couple weeks, always appreciate having rooting interest in games, makes it quite fun!

Ok, looks like I go 3 - 0 today (barring the Phillies game getting called early due to rain or something, but even that I don't think will matter in terms of who wins) to end at 9 - 8 - 1, +0.22 units. So I did my job at least today, glad of that, whatever happens now happens!

Whatever does occur, glad I came back these last few days, was in such a hole, but to finish with positive units given how far down I was, well that's something whether I win the overall head to head or not!

Since the Cubs lost, he is currently -2.33 So he wins if Athletics + Red Sox both win, otherwise I take it (even if Phillies game gets called early). Good sweat for tonight's game (assuming Athletics hold their current lead) at least - fun way to end it on the very last game!

So looks like I got it - after he had that amazing 3 - 0 yesterday, all three underdogs, I figured I was done for. But the clutch 3 - 0 combined with some favorable things late in the Brewers vs Cubs + Orioles vs Red Sox games pulled me through!

Made it to the Final 8 which is what I predicted of myself to begin with (in the bracket contest) so guess I can be content with whatever happens from now. That said, I'll sure try my best to keep winning, let the chips fall where they may!
