I think this list is a little off....

Ali is #1. Most well known person around the world in his time. He was more than legend.
Also, the fact there is only 1 soccer player (Pele at #9) speaks volumes as to how this is a westernized list and not World Wide. Soccer the #1 sport in the world. Pele, Messi belong in top 5.

Tiger Woods not in top 10?? Jack Nicklaus not on the board anywhere?

Mike Tyson on the list over guys not listed like Sugar Ray Robinson and Joe Louis?

No Novak or Nadal. No Rod Laver who won the Grand Slam twice. No Martina Navratilova or Chris Evert.

Agree way too many Americans for a top-50 list.
