It’s becoming more and more apparent how much the Browns owned the Travis Hunter trade

Couldn’t find the thread but I said so at the time, as did others.

The Browns got such a haul for trading the number two overall pick - a number five overall pick, a second round and fourth round pick, and a 2026 first round pick.

Said it day of the draft that was way too much to give up for Hunter, who played against mid competition in college. Great athlete but just not sure he will ever be more than what he’s showing now in the NFL. Fairly average so far.

Hunter was just a social media hype machine
GM's got to be weary of that
Incredible how many plays he was able to play in college but they had a system at Colorado against average competition.

He was always going to be undersized. His game just hasn’t translated to the nfl yet. I don’t think it ever was at the level Jacksonville expected

the funny thing is they just "unleashed" him last week offensively and he had his best game. they need to keep using him that way. they also can't worry about letting him get defensive snaps cause he gets too few. get 6 good years of playing both sides instead of 9 medicore. for a number 2, ride him like a stud horse.

And now Travis Hunter out for the year

Lost season

Jacksonville would have been better off trading for Anthony Davis

At least he was able to make 1 TD before going out for the season haha.

The great Cleveland trade heist. Cleveland wins this draft trade.

Jags still plan on playing Travis Hunter both ways they say.

A shame how much they gave up for this guy. Will hurt them trying to build on their success this year with fewer early picks.
