I was thinking about putting some of my recent winnings into hiring a personal trainer for at least a month or six weeks to get back into the habit.

Thoughts? @JDS @KVB and others who are regular gym folks. Good idea??

I used to hit the gym a lot in my 20s and early 30s but have gotten out of the habit. I even have a membership at the best gym in town.

Just hard to get self-motivated. Used to go with a friend from high school back in the day and seemed to never skip out.

Had a real good friend from high school too that was a personal trainer and only charged me $15 per session back in my 20s for a couple of years that was a great deal obviously.
Jay get the music bumpin throw in a bet and get in yhe groove

today Rose and Pat were working pretty straight forward pulling/back motions.

I did KB single side rotational work, rope climbs, and balance workScreenshot_20251001-183919~2.jpg

you just gotta find a gym with beautiful half naked gym bunnies
this

hot females are great motivation.

you want something simple and effective? do pushups till failure and bodyweight squats till failure morning and night. besides getting stronger you will develop endurance and train your heart.

as JJ said, try walking more. even at work take the stairs, get up and walk around the office. go for a walk after work.

you don't need a gym.it is nice of course but not necessary.
