Typing with the Vietnamese keyboard is very different than typing on the phone. It is like learning how to type again.

I think you need to have a certain app on your phone for the Vietnamese language to have it type correctly. Just like in Spanish, as well, with all those tildes.
It is not an app, it is just the keyboard you add. However, you have to know how to type on the keyboard because it doesn't do it automatically.
