I'd rather have the 50 cents
Guess it just depends on your perspective.
At the current pricing - found several outs who I could use to bet one side of the match if I was so inclined with them and the other at Heritage and make a 2-3 cent profit.
THEN you have cash back from Heritage .4-.8% win or lose.
Combine with 8th deposit free and if you needed to make a rollover at other shops - represents a nice opportunity to clear a chunk of roll at no cost.
Get rich quick opportunity, no. But it’s got more than 50 cents in value to some.
Not the same old Heritage of 15 years ago - but no place is what it was 15 years ago either.
And if your unlucky enough to get some profit boost from DK - you could actually lock up a tidy profit on this match potentially.

Again wouldn’t expect you to understand JJ - you have to HAVE a bankroll to participate in opportunities like that.
Much better off making 20 threads a day about how everyone is a loser to make $200 in a month than putting up money and taking full advantage of promotion opportunities.
Like I said - this doesn’t work for everyone - but it’s certainty (provided the book doesn’t stiff you - which is unlikely of your playing with decent shops that offer high limits and have a history of paying). Certainly better for the bankroll than chasing bridge jumpers looking to squeeze out 5% show bets or laying 10k on live bets late in a game.
Look at the Man City/United game itself for proof of that - City had it 1-0 until United tied it in the 90th minute to swing the draw to -700 only to walk away with the win. Or Jets looking horrible all game to tie things up late and then looking like they would earn bettors a push on the -3 before sealing it with a late TD.
