Yes. I hope there’s some way they lose out and get Travis Hunter

But agree with others.

Cowboys main problem will continue to be Jerry Jones, who sees himself as a talent evaluator. Nothing could be from the truth.

Literally one of the worst GMs in football.

Tough to see when you see teams like the 49ers and Eagles, two of their main rivals in the Conference, seemingly always making great moves draft day or awesome in-season trades.

All Dallas as done lately is trade for a WR who already has proven he was overrated on draft day, and given up a 4th rounder to boot when most teams would have offered max 6th or 7th rounder. They could have gotten Dionte Johnson, a much better receiver, from the same team at that price.

Just utter baffonery. But except for the days of Jimmy Johnson and briefly when Jerry ceded some power to Bill Parcells, that’s pretty much par for the course for its fans last couple of decades.

Not getting better anytime soon either after making an average (at best) quarterback the highest paid player in the league
How do you "cut bait" now? They are screwed Dak will be around for years. No team would want to take that contract over.

Look at Watson. Cleveland buried for years as well.

Dak was throwing for 400 yds a game 3-4 yrs ago during covid. Sometimes 500 yds. But they had one of the best offensive lines of all time. Plus a prime a.cooper and c.lamb gave a fuk back then.

Imagine sending a 3rd round pick for a backup qb knowing damn well you were always going to extend Dak because the fan pressure would be too strong. Oh and paying that now 3rd string qb 5 million a year to hold a clipboard.
