At.one point, i thought they might overtake the Phillies and win the division. That won't happen now but they will be a tough out in the playoffs.

This is true. Dodgers, Brewers, D-backs have all played well since late June but the Mets have played the best since then (looking at W/L record).

Finally living up to expectations - October is a different game though.

Anyone can go on a streak over 10 days - helps when you have a solid ‘pen and consistent hitters. All you need then is a couple of good starts and one of your power hitters to get hot.

Id like to see them face off vs Cleveland in the Series - would be interesting seeing Lindor playing his old team.

I'm thinking it'll be LAD/NYY series.

I think LAD starting rotation is better than the Phillies.
Milwaukee is next in the NL IMO.

I look at the entire bullpen as a whole. I should whittle it down to the top 4-5 guys, and focus on best closers.

Yep it all comes down to the bullpens. The most overlooked aspect of any team by management. Teams with great bullpens usually shut down great offenses it happens time and time again in October baseball.
