They prob won't fire him over DUI. Prob paid leave while he gets counseling. Problem with Cops in this country is qualified immunity. Also we truly need a database that tracks officers who have been dealt disciplinary actions by their department. A lot of these guy can just to another state and get a job being a dirty cop somewhere else.

Next your gonna tell me the people of Boston are unfriendly to non-Caucasian’s.

Watched a bit of it while I was on vacation - basically had to because the only stations we got were based in Boston. The whole freaking thing is just crooked. But yea - this asshat makes Boston cops look bad - which is a task onto itself knowing their reputation.

Got to agree though - no way you fire a cop. Union way too strong - especially up there. Literally can kill someone and you get a reprimand - OVI in a black and white basically is a verbal warning probably - given over drinks at the local watering hole mid shift.
