Anyone get an e-mail invite to "The Bettors Den"? Text says that they are a spinoff from a "sport book you used to rave about" which, I'm thinking, means 5-Dimes. Cannot find any info on this and only link is to sign-up form. Anyone know about this?

Yea - they claim to be “related” I guess - but is that really something to brag about ?

Working an old client list - spamming and not really making their name known via forums or any promotion. Don’t hold a lot of hope - much easier to stiff customers when you are an under the radar book and no one knows who you are and any posting of being a no pay doesn’t raise eyebrows as very few play there.

Would steer clear - no one starts sports books in January/February - and doing it quietly and email only is a red flag. Not that they CANT be legit - but it’s way too early to start placing blind faith in strangers.

As someone who had a Canadian 5dimes account until they closed May 2023 and speaking with a friend in the US who has a Bettors Den account, I guarantee it is the same people from 5dimes running Bettors Den. The chat people all have the same names and it is the same offerings as 5dimes last year(less than when they left the US in 2020). KYC is required before first payout and consists of ID, selfie+ID, and utility bill(you are allowed to redact everything from the utility bill besides company name, your name, address, and date.)

I signed up to look over the lines and maybe deposit. So far I don't see anything too special about them.

They don't offer as many props/unique bets as back in 2020 but they still have the same reduced juice that many people loved. They also have the same live betting ultra that Betanysports does except it also comes with a 2% rebate. You also only get 1 free crypto payout per calendar month which you can let them know in the comments section when requesting a payout. All other crypto payouts are a 1% fee. You also must activate DBA before requesting your first payout or it will be rejected. But most importantly they do pay(so far).

They gave me a 50 freeplay to try out the site. The reduced juice is nice in MLb but not available till hours before game time like BAS I believe.

I do not like the layout as it's all white and not easy on the eyes. Overall it's an interesting option I guess. Will I deposit? Maybe down the road I might .

I just got a phone call and voicemail stating that 5dimes is rebranding and coming back as a new site called bettorsden.com

I honestly kept typing in the wrong address thinking he said bettors then or than . com So i called the number to verify and I got the official new website.

Hmmmm.....

This is interesting. So much "stuff" has happened to 5dimes over the years. Who was running the place after Tony's demise? Also, after they closed shop in Europe last year, it makes you wonder about them.

Not sure I'm willing to jump in right away. If someone does, let us know how it goes.

I chatted with them and everything looks like 5Dimes. The UI experience, the agents everything..

I had great respect to this shop even if they started asking many documents and delaying payouts before they close down. They paid after all.

On the downside, I don't see them having a license regulator like 5Dimes used to have.

I am considering to deposit within the week - not 100% sure yet. I will keep you posted.
