The investigation will be the talk, but I'm not sure it impacts the play on the field. The real story will be:
1) Do the top Penn St players show up?
2) Do the Penn St coaches have a game-plan where the QB can be comfortable and successful?
...IMHO, the QB has to hit SOME downfield passes to win. Can't win w/o opening up the offense a little.

There's a saying that the team with Off-field distractions = a team to bet AGAINST.

Michigan St was a good example of that this year. The coaching situation made it very difficult for players to focus.

Michigan has been a pretty well-oiled machine. I'd think their routine is pretty entrenched. That said, if it inhibits their preparation by 10%, that's a factor.
