I guess some of the rules and policies the commissioner implemented during the off-season are drawing fans back
The record was in 2007, 32M fans.

Can you imagine how much the owners are raking in with 30M fans attending and ticket prices now averaging $37. That is a 60% increase in ticket prices since 2007 ($23).


  • 2007 income from tickets 32M x $23 = $736M
  • 2023 income from ticket 30M x $37 = $1,100M
Attendance is down 7% but income from tickets is up 51%.






Its even more profit when you include concessions and parking.

Tampa attendance was up, so that helped some

A's were basically at AAA level attendance for much of the year until they played Tampa in June when they were the top of the league. That game drew 3 times the season average of attendance.
