That's nice but it makes you wonder if they will hesitate passing the ball to an open player when needed or just go for the money themselves.

@Tanko @BMR Genie I got clarification today from another interview. Each player on the team gets $4,200 for a goal. USA could of played the game without a goalie today. Not one shot on goal. In two different interviews I watched, the goal of the team is just to score a goal in the World Cup, they know they really have no chance to win a game. They just want to score 1 goal.

Its good for any game they play. Each goal they get each player gets money.
