This might be the reason they've cooled off a little and played down to the Royals at home in 4 game series

Wander was disciplined & benched recently for multiple problems with teammates

Would suck to see their chemistry & success fall apart because of this

Wander Franco was benched and when asked about it, manager Kevin Cash said for "Being a bad teammate"

No further details from cash, but it's said there was some also some confrontation between players, and maybe between Franco and other Rays' star randy arozarena.
Possible jealousy going on.

Which makes sense because right after all of this was announced, Franco hit a homerun in a game, and although arozarena was on-deck batting next, he stepped away as other teammates came out to congratulate Wander

Cash probably shouldn't have made it public and obviously hasn't done a very good job of bringing the team back together

The Rays success so far this year clearly not a fluke and it's no coincidence it's been downhill since all of this
