Although the Xfinity race is postponed until tonight, everyone's picks still remain the same.
No new entries (deadline was yesterday 4:00 PM).

Don't forget todays Cup race entries in Race #5 thread.

Guys, just a heads up.

Xfinity series has a lot of drivers changing cars and a lot of cars changing to new drivers already and its only week 2 for that series.

5 drivers have changed car #s.
9 cars have changed drivers.

  • Just be careful not to duplicate car numbers used in a given series.
  • Also do not duplicate a using a driver, even if they are in a different series (i.e. Cup, Xfinity, Truck).
It may become complicated to avoid duplicates as we go through the next 6 weeks if this level of swapping cars continues. Daytona may have been the anomaly since it is a super-speedway but, just keep this in mind.

Finally, I would ask that you bear with me on the scoring as it will require quite a bit of work to try and document that duplicate drivers and #'s are not used due to the Xfinity changes.

Why would it matter if you duplicate a car number in a given series if that is different driver? Shouldn't that be excluded and only matter if its the same driver? Kind of confusing too honestly for people like me who don't even know the difference between the different series to keep track of not only driver names but driver numbers from the same series when that driver number can be used for a different series but not the same series.

Kind of tough to change the rules now that we've already started the contest.
